deep calls to deep in the roar

Life is hard.  The world is complicated.  Always both life and death; love and hate; hope and despair; joy and grief.  Always riddled with contradictions, opposites, …extremes on an endless spectrum of possibilities.

The mind the body the spirit continually experience new experience.  And experience brings a new chance to learn, grow, get hurt, avoid, be confused, or figure something out.

The continuum of a lifetime collects moments, memories, dreams, losses, achievements, friends, foes, perceptions, reactions, revelations, understanding.

Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls… Psalm 42:7

I’ve always loved this verse but it’s hard to explain it.  It’s just comforting -reassuring, like God gets it.

He gets the depth of the struggle, the pain, and vastness of the soul.  The mystery of the compounded moments, people, and places; affirmations; accusations; and silences that build us up and tear us down.  He gets it.  He uses it all.

could this be Sanctification?

May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through.  May my whole spirit soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.
